We went into this information centre to get some memorabilia and souvenirs from the area. On selecting our choices and fronting the counter, we were attended to by a remarkably friendly, talkative and helpful young lady. She told us of a number of scenic views and places of interest to visit whilst in Balranald and also gave us other snippets of information regarding the surrounding area. She also asked us if we would like to look over the old Balranald gaol the key to which was available at the counter. We accepted her invitation. She also asked us to make sure that there was no one left in the establishment when we re locked the door to return the key. A very worthwhile and informative visit.
