i thought this place was going to be better, considering their prices, location and appearance of the place. However, I felt dissapointed, the food was nothing special and expensive. The staff was friendly.

Approximate cost: $35

I visited here because there was such a good reputation that I had heard of.

My fish however, had obviously been frozed. I couldn't have been more disappointed. At upwards of thirty dollars, I would expect fresh fish from someone who markets themselves as upclass Thai.

TO their credit however, my glass was never empty and all the wait staff were kind and courteous.

We didn't stay for coffee

Approximate cost: $30

Disappointing to hear that they use frozen fish. I have always hear good things about this restaurant.

My friends parents work here. The Banana Leaf Restaurant and Café is a truly unique venue in the heart of the city. During the day it's an up-market yet informal café, ideal for casual catch-ups.

Approximate cost: $15

I haven't checked this out yet, and I'd love to. Thanks for the review!
