They do everything to make the kids happy when they are getting a trim. The girls always get cute ribbons and glitter spray and it takes the fuss out of haircuts for them.

i always go to Banana Skins with my little girl for her hairstyling. the atmoshphere of the shop always attracts kids. the service is very good. they know very well how to manage young kids and brings best outcome.

I have a disabled child who detests anyone touching his head, let alone cutting it or washing it. He has a scalp problem which can be painful too. Mom's haircuts left him looking and feeling awful. After explaining his situation to the staff, they suggested regular visits to desensitise him to haircuts, building trust, negotiating and feeling their way towards light trims, to eventual full haircuts. Their patience and tolerance was rewarded, they play along with his ego and mood - the result, good haircuts! This sunny shop, with bright decor, carnival ride type seats, on demand kids dvds to distract them plus lots of hair fripperies like gel, glitter, coloured wax and trimmings make it heaven for kids to get their hair done. It is pricier than average but WELL WORTH EVERY CENT!

If you are after a special place for your child boy or girl to have their hair done.... then this is it. My girls and boy love it here. They can choose their hair style and how they would like it to look plaits, braides, glitter the works...
Worth the price and the joy my children get from their special visit to the hair salon.

My grandson gets the best haircuts. Nadia and the girls are the best. they have the ability to give wiggling kids a fantastic haircut, no idea how they do it! The haircuts are first class, you get a reminder of your appointment with a personal call. All the girls are well mannered and graceful. Would never take my grandson any where else. Ever.
