One of the staff members at Barbeques Galore at Unit 7, Block C Hollylea Road, Campbelltown, literally started swearing at me because I simply asked him, "Why have you got an attitude with me? when I'm the one that had to drive 20km back to the store, because I was sold the wrong item. Not only that, I specifically described the item I needed and the salesperson confirmed on the phone that they had the item I was after"! I asked him the above question in relation to his attitude, when the man in question, slammed the large barbecue plate on the counter in front of me. He simply abused me as if it was my stuff up or I was a being a pain! Then he went absolutely berserk, clinched his fists by his side, walked up to me in an aggressive manner, continued to swear at me, picked up my old plate, shoved it at my chest and told me to shove it (with some more swearing). He told me not to come back, and said that he was "sick of people like you complaining, you make me sick". I was absolutely in shock and shaking up, because I thought he was going to assault me. Every customer in the store was in shock as well, and couldn't believe the way he carried on. Even one of there employees said and I quote, "It was pretty over the top"! He should've lost his job on the spot! I think he got away with it due to his position as a shareholder in this company. I asked one of the senior staff members who conveniently didn't hear anything because he was upstairs, which was a contradiction in itself, simply because he came down immediately after the commotion if they had CCTV cameras, he initially said no, then he said we have one at the counter, but it's not recording. (Yeah Right) !!! I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I've personally had 12 years experience in retail, and 4 years as a manager of a large retail store, and I've never had any of my employees speak to a customer or act so aggressive towards a customer, the way I was treated. Nor, have I ever experienced this sort of behavior from any other salesperson in retail in general! After all that I was left with no replacement grill plate because they didn't have the correct grill plate in the store. So not only was I abused and verbally attacked in such an aggressive way by one of the part owners, I had traveled 40km (There and back twice), to cop awful abuse and end up with nothing! One last thing, when I asked the senior staff member if he was going to apologize for his abusive and aggressive outburst, the manager's words, as well as a slight laugh, "He won't do that"!

Thanks for the excellent service guys! The prices were great and so were the people. I've come out with a great new toy, and cannot wait to use it tonight.
