They have really good coffee here and I must say that it might be some of the best in the Melbourne region. I try to visit as many cafes as I can and this one is right up there with the best. There's a great food selection and the staff are really nice and efficient. Also I didn't have to wait too long for my meal even though it was quite busy. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

lots of seating and conveniently located for uni students (i tend to go here to order something small and sit here for hours on end to study) i had one of their cookies and it was quite stale, higher than average prices but overall not bad

Agree with the below review. Just want to add the following:

-help yourself water
-mixture of couches and normal tables
-quiches are nice here

This place is 'order at the counter'
Considering the number of tables, there were surprisingly few staff.
Hence, the counter line tends to build up at lunch hour.
The food is acceptable, although the salads are occasionally 'tired'
Prices are rather steep, and more reminiscent of a first rate cafe in the CBD region. Baretto gets away with this pricing due to location/monopoly.
