I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else....he is great with animals and knows what he is doing and definitely not over priced.....have been dealing with him over a number of years with not only my pets but also recuse ones as well.....

Fantastic vet, with more knowledge about animals than most vets on the central coast. Always willing to help in anyway. Hugh has been looking after my dogs for two years know and his knowledge about animals and how to help them amazes me. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

If you want cheap vet treatment, go here. He doesn't prescribe unnecessary treatments or up sell products - he's pretty honest in that respect. I used to take my pets here, but after what can only be described as a butchering of my dogs ear and no pain relief given post-op...never again. He does a lot of work for cat rescues and makes little or no profit from that and that is admirable, but for my pets, not for me. He's not a people person, but some of the reception staff are good. Bit rough when handling pets too, in my opinion.

We always take our dogs to Hugh Bain at Bateau Bay Vets and he is really good. He is very knowledgeable and patient. The front desk girls are all lovely as well. It is usually pretty busy, so they must be pretty good!
