Bavarian Beach Bar & Cafe

A stroll along the Mooloolaba Esplanade led us past this cafe, which we've passed many times over the years but not stopped at. The decor is bright and friendly, blue-and-White check tablecloths and friendly staff. We enjoyed a Coffee and cake special. The hot drinks were extra hot as requested and a nice taste (which is rarer than you would think these days). The cake was gluten free, and you could tell the difference as it didn't have the super sweet sugary taste that many cakes have, but was still enjoyable with a raspberry centre and our choice of sides of either ice cream or cream. There is some inside seating but why sit inside when you can eat out and look over the Mooloolaba waterfront.
