Great place, great food and great service, they serve up local seafood and its right on the bay! Food was spectacular and a great menu to choose from. Will probably even book a room next time were there. Really outstanding value and was just delicious.

We needed a basic room in St Helens for the night and when I checked up on the internet I found the Bayside Inn to have the cheapest room by far. On this occasion we didn't want anything fancy, just somewhere to sleep. The service was friendly and helpful (the receptionist needs a special mention for making us feel welcome). The room was pretty basic, but comfortable and clean. This location is central and convenient. There were a number of eating places to choose from in St Helens, but for convenience we chose to dine in the restaurant provided. They offer a delicious menu (we had the vegetable stack and the squid - very tasty!), and were very happy with our meals. The following morning we had another delicious meal for breakfast. The service then was also friendly and helpful. If you're looking for basic, inexpensive accommodation I would highly recommend the Bayside Inn. We enjoyed our stay in St Helens.
