Paid for specific time delivery. Was sent an email (no call) at the end of the delivery window telling me they would not be delivering it for another 4 days.

Cancelled the order and requested a refund. They gave me the run around and took weeks to process the refund.

Ordered from another supplier and it ended up being half the price. So not only do they have terrible service, their prices are a ripoff too.

Extremely disappointing customer support and service . The companies testimonials support deliveries in restricted access locations , however this was not my experience. Clear instructions for a small truck was made , however BC Sands was not able to deliver my order due to acceess. With the truck too large to enter my shared driveway , BC sands required me to fully pay for another order with the smaller truck before refunding my initial order .

To make matters worse, BC Sands then charged me the delivery fee for the missed delivery, PLUS fees for loading and reloading their truck . My order was a standard bag of sand and which I am sure they are delivering daily . This is a company that is not customer focused and their management is not too concerned about repeat business and or customer loyalty .

Love dealing with this company. They have two locations - Taren Point and Mascot, and I've made several bulk soil orders over the last few years and have always found them great to deal with. Helpful, knowledgeable and always have the right product for our gardens. If you're not certain, they're always ready to offer advice. Not only are they great in the office, but their drivers are superb. Courteous, on time, mindful of our property (and the neighbours overhanging branches) and expert at negotiating our slightly narrow driveway. Once, our strata went with another supplier, the driver swore and cursed about access, even though details of driveway width etc had been provided, and dumped the wrong product on our front verge. This was from a well known nursery group. Never again. BC Sands are my first, second and third choice.
