A gorgeous location to sit and enjoy a view of the bay. Good food, however it is a limited menu, which some may not mind.

The new management is great and couldn't be happier with the service and quality, very family friendly and glad to pop in when I am near by. The view is a stand out as you get to look right out on to the water and enjoy your meal.

meal was wonderful and ever since the new owners came the meals have become even better. Dont go often because it isn't local but when I visit friends in the area I make sure to stop by and grab something.

I am SO glad this place is under new management. It is in a great location and since it has been taken over just wow.. the food is fabulous and the staff are so friendly to not only the customers but to each other which makes a great atmosphere. Very happy and we are now regulars!

Went here for a light meal with some of my cousins while in Melbourne. We didn't end up having a meal here as there really wasn't anything on the menu that we liked, not very much choice at all, infact it was mainly focaccia and salads. Not only that, the meals seemed expensive at around $20 for a salad. We decided that because we had driven all this way we would just have a drink and eat elsewhere. I tried their Iced Coffee which came with ice-cream, it was ok. But if you are really into salads, I would suggest you go here. The only thing I liked about this cafe was the view of the bay.

Approximate cost: $20

We decided on a quick lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The place was only half full and there were plenty of staff. After sitting for 15 minutes without even being given a menu I politely asked one of the two teenage robots repeatedly cleaning surrounding tables for a menu. I got a smirk and a 'sure'. Two menus were sullenly delivered. We then say for another 15 minutes watching people who arrived after us get served, and one family of 4 who arrive after us actually receive their orders. After half an hour we still had not been asked for our order we walked out. We were sitting outside, in the middle, in plain view, but the staff were bored and inattentive. Someone has obviously gone to a lot of trouble and spent a lot of money setting up a cafe in such a wonderful spot. However the staff there will probably send the place broke if the economy tightens up even a little. We live only 5 minutes away and will NEVER go back. There are plenty of good places around but this place is all views and no service.

Approximate cost: $25

Hi Patrickc5, thanks for your review. A shameful manner in which to conduct business! One can only assume that the business in question has adequate patronage and doesnâ??t require any new additions. Regards, Reeces

We have tried to come here before but the hours are a bit odd and we don't often find it open. It was open today so we stopped in for a coffee and instead decided to have lunch. Had a delicious warm chicken salad with eggplant and almonds. It was quite good but the serving size rather small for the price. We had to ask for our coffee twice to get it and when we did, we had made a request for the coffee that wasn't done. When it was pointed out to the server, we got a flip. "sorry" and she walked away. I have found this to be typical of service in Oz. In America, if you had told them the coffee was wrong, they would have apologized and taken the coffee away and remade it. People in Oz don't seem to expect things like that and I think the service would improve if more people let their expectations be known. Not once did I see one of the girls serving smile. The view of the beach was nice, but even the outdoor area is a "no smoking" area. The place was relatively clean - some sand on the floor which is to be expected, but the tables were clean and the servers did clear used dishes quickly. While I walk the Seaford foreshore only a few times, I won't be stopping in again.

Approximate cost: $18

Amazing views - hidden secret! SO NOISY WITH CUSTOMERS TALKING AND ECHOING, AND THE LOUD MUSIC TOO. But it was so beautiful looking out at the dunes water and pier. Not much choice at lunch time - you can have foccacia or salads - and they are too expensive for lunch $14-$18. Glad we didn't sit on the gorgeous decked area outside (it was a little chilly) as there was a huge brown rat running around. Nothing to do with the restaurant - apparently rats are around all the beaches....

Approximate cost: $14-$18

The menu is limited, and I thought a bit pricey, BUT the view is wonderful. This is the only spot in Seaford where you can sit and look at the water while eating.

Only open for breakfast and lunch. The food is average. Come if you want a view!

Approximate cost: $16
