I have coming to the Beach Palace for years, and I always manage to have a brilliant time there. It has a vibrant atmosphere, the bistro is quite good and it is not too expensive. Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons are very fun here.

This is the place to go for a good night out and a bite to eat on the beach. Upstairs on the balcony is great in the afternoon with a beer or later on with a big crowd, it has a great atmosphere

Bistro downstairs is ok but if you go on a weekend in the warmer months, go to the bistro upstairs. Better views and generally have live music, also the menu and food quality tends to be better than downstairs. They have daily specials which can be good value ($5 steaks) and they do a delicious greek salad.

I love this place for the great outlook on to Coogee Beach, it obviously has a really fun beachy atmosphere. A quiet drink on the balcony or a big party on a Saturday night, it's all good.

The spectacular building is well equipped with bars and a couple of different choices for eating in. One thing they could fix would be the single chairs inside overlooking the beach I think we only found one that had all four legs in tact
