Becco is a melbourne institution which has stood the test of time by being true to its cuisine, staying sharp and staying committed to its customers through great service. I recently dined there and as always, i was reminded of the reason why I go back again and again.
The food is traditional italian served to a very high standard. The round table in the area that is a little separate to the main dining room is fantastic for larger groups.

Nice vegetarian options. Nice place to sit with friends or on a date. Nice ambience. Italian food.

Becco was an incredible experience that I was lucky to have as part of a friend's birthday dinner (particularly as it would be beyond my usual means!). Cannot fault it really, the atmosphere is classy and understated, the service was brilliant and the food and drink was divine. It is fine dining, so is tending towards a bit higher up on the pricey scale, but I had an amazing evening. It would be perfect for an anniversary or special occasion where you felt like lashing out.
