love my pasta and the pasta here was very nice the service wasnt the best though and i also found some the staff a little rude food was nice the place was not busy so was a little dissappointed on the service and rude staff

We went here for my sisters birthday and it was ok. There were only 2 other groups of people on a Saturday night so it was very quiet and service was good and fast. Everyone at our table enjoyed the pasta much more than the pizza. Servings are huge so an entree size pasta is enough for even the hungriest adult to eat as a main. Overall everything was just ok not fantastic but certainly not bad. A good place to go if you like basic Italian food.

I have been here several times and the majority of the time it hasn't been very good at all, took to long for the waiter took our order and then we had to go get our own drinks because they had forgotten and they also forgot one of the pasta's and a garlic bread. But when we finally got our food it was good, large servings and affordable prices, overall it was alright but wouldn't give it a high recommendation.

The family were in Echuca for the holiday weekend. We saw this restaurant was not crowded like the others and thought we were lucky. Should have been an omen.

There were two very young men as the only floor staff - they seated you, brought the drinks, served the meals and were too busy to clean up any of the tables. Uneaten food was left for nearly two hours close by to us.

Our drinks came within 20 mins and then we waited. The people next to us and around us waited also. Two different groups got up and went back out without receiving their order. Finally after about an hour and a half two of our meals came out - the pizzas, but the pastas were a no-show. Another 20 minutes or so went by.

The young men scurried everywhere and were getting quite a bit of flack from many tables. There appeared to be only one cook, seen through the large servery window at one side.

The pizzas (which were on the House special list for the day) were not bad - toppings generous and taste was fine, although a little on the bland side. We were so hungry we would have eaten a much worse meal anyway. The base was doughy and not well cooked. The pasta (a tortellini dish) was reported to be good. The portions were quite reasonable.

The place is rather large but on this night there were only a quarter of the amount of patrons it could hold. How they fare on a busier night, I don't know. There is also an outside eating area which wasn't used on this cold night.

If some things changed - like about a 200% increase in staff, and perhaps some different furniture as the wooden chairs were very hard to sit on for any length of time, then this might shape up to be a good restaurant. The decor is very bland and could do with some livening up. Toilets are lacklustre but clean.

The interesting thing is, right in the same restaurant, only divided by a row of chairs and not even a wall - is a take-away only section with the familiar pizza oven. We could have cut an hour off our wait by getting take-away and eating it somewhere else, but, as it was a cold night, we thought sitting in would be far nicer.

Our hopes of coffee and ice cream disappeared the longer we waited for our mains and we paid the bill and gladly left.

The one bright side seemed to be the price - $64 for four main meals, garlic bread, jug of soft drink and another drink. For a comparable dining experience (without the wait) I think it would have been much more.

Note to self- when in Echuca next and see a crowded restaurant ... go in. It means its good.
