Benito's Restaurant

Went here with my partners boss & wife as boss decided to shout us dinner to celebrate our engagement. Mixed feelings for here i must say. The oysters kilpatrick & oysters champagne were marvellous. The garlic bread was very dry & not buttery nor garlic-y as expected. The cola in my partners rum was flat. The glass of moscato i had was very nice altho was not a full glass as expected (had measurements on the side of the glass) my partner had the new york cut steak ordered medium. It came well done & although tender was very much like cardboard & bland. Thumbs up for cooking it through without cremating the outside though! I had the pasta fish with a tomato & garlic base. Although the pasta was over cooked it was still a lovely meal with balanced flavours. While there was plenty of room to move it was very busy & there was only 2 staff serving tables. Parking is very far from the restaurant entrance & is very dark to walk to & from your vehicle.

THANK YOU BENITO'S we had our Christmas Party last night & it was GREAT 3 cousre meals with drinks and a DJ.. We'll be back next year for sure!

I have been going to Benitos for a couple of years now after my now Husband took me there on our very first date. I was impressed then, and i am even more impressed now after having my wedding there.
Being very particular, i find it quite hard to find good restaurants so iv just stuck to benitos. I go there once a week with my family and seeing as we are regulards we are ALWAYS looked after. Complimentry bottle of wine here and there, complimentry desert here and there. They really know how to look after there customers. I had my wedding there a couple of months ago now and all i can say is wow, wow, WOW! Being a nervous wreck about the whole day, benitos really eased the stresses of it all! The owners were so lovely even letting myself and my bridesmaids use a private bathroom to freshen up whenever we liked. And the food was just divine. for all in all my wedding was all i wished it would be. Thanks Benitos Team!

best steaks ever go and have a real steak benitos is one of the best i have ever had for a long time great voice by singing waiter also keep up the good work

Amazing food, large portions, and a great variety to choose from. Prices are very reasonable and the the staff are very friendly. We were well looked after and didn't have to wait around for service. Meals came out in great timing, well presented and very tasty! There was a function on on the same night we went and it did not affect the service we received at all. Highly recommend, would go there again for sure!

Went to a function there for work, quite an old venue though, hard to access as single lane road in and out, food delicious, though only had finger food, drinks well priced. Staff friendly.

We had a lovely quiet lunch. The waiter was very friendly and polite. The food was at great price. We had a two course meal for $17.50 each. We loved our meals. They were large portions and tasted great.

great value best steak in a long time cooked just right and i have to add very nice family business the people who knocked Benitos you are all a bunch of scamers looking for a free ride of other hard working peoples back keep your bu--l sh-t veiws to your self we dont like exaggerated scamming comments

The best of the best Italian restaurant would have to be the the best homely ambiance in a long time with awesome food & service by a Italian singing waiter Benito's rocks on the mornington peninsula

The worst place I have ever been to. The service was ridiculous! We went out as a group of colleagues, looking forward to a good night out and some good food. We had to wait for 20 minutes just to look at the menu because they had run out. Then they started serenading the customers, which seemed like fun. However, we soon realized that it was a ploy, to distract you from thinking about your meal because we waited 2 hours for our food. Then were told we could not use the discount dockets they advertise because the whole table had to order main meals, not just half the table. The waitress however, failed to mention this when we showed her the vouchers prior to ordering our meals. The whole thing is a scam just to get customers in the door. I will never go back there or recommend the place to anybody. I am surprised they are still in business. Terrible customer service and bad attitude.

I used to have a weekly business breakfast meeting at Benitos. The location and atmosphere is great, but the food was crap. Imagine burned toast, cold backed tomato and- get this - powdered scrambled eggs. I wondered why the eggs tasted funny and someone mentioned they're not fresh, and some chefs use powdered eggs instead. We soon moved venues.

As a family we went out for dinner. The food was very late to arrive due a function. Also my fish and chips dish was very oily and greasy.We had a shopper docket to use to receive half price meals but they would only accept one and not two in conjunction.Very disappointing,staff lacked interest in their customers and one waitress was heavily pregnant and should have been made to lift heavy objects.
