When the aircon on my 5 Series BMW had a fault Southern BM charged me $200 for re-gasing (aircon still didn't work), told me that TX value was defective, and quoted over $1200+ to replace the value. To justify the cost, they claimed that they needed to remove the entire console in order to get to the valve. I took the car to Bentleigh Auto Electrical and their electrician fixed it for less than $600, including re-gasing cost. I had previously used Southern BM and BM Tech and I am sick of being ripped-off by both. In contrast, I think that trustworthy outfits such as Bentleigh Auto Electrical deserve my glowing review and I would highly recommend them.
