It's 'the local'. While I don't drink in the hotel itself, the area is busy, a little loud, but cheerful. We frequently go to the pub's bistro for Wednesday night trivia and dinner. They have a really decent menu, the staff are really accomodating, and the prices are EXCELLENT.

The vegie stack in particular is lovely, but I know that, for the carnivores, their steaks and burgers are great, served with generous servings of chips and salad, or vegies (the potatoes are amazing, served in this kind of creamy cheese sauce and really tender). I hesitate to call it 'typical' pub fare, because they do have some excellent variety, and a meal, including a drink, would seldom cost you more than $15.

The drinks are really well priced, too. I'm not a big drinker, but our typical round on a Wednesday is 2 sodas and a schooner of beer, which'll usually come in under $10.

I live very close to this pub so quite often I go over for a drink, the tables are never cleaned some of the staff are out right rude and arrogant, the in pub dining is horrendous the order will never be as you asked and often prices changing from day to day, usually going up when there are little clientel

Food is chinese, came out hot and quickly. The Bar service is great - freindly staff and atmostpehere. Mostly go here for the TAB, Pokies and Bar facilities. Extremely enjoyable. Would reccomend to a friend.
