Without Berry Patchwork and the wonderful owner/operator Elizabeth Dubbelde, I would never have discovered the absolute joy of patchwork and quilting. I had been to 5 or 6 other patchwork shops prior to Berry Patchwork and had received little or no help with my enquiries about fabrics and learnng patchwork.
The doors to the world of patchwork opened for me due solely to Berry Patchwork. I found such helpful service, such a beautiful range of fabrics, great beginners classes and friendly staff.
At Berry Patchwork, I attended beginners' classes, then weekly patchwork groups where I met a great group of women and I looked forward each meeting immensely. I also attended workshops run by 'outside' teachers and they were so professionally organized. I came away from each workshop feeling confident about what I had learned and felt it was money well spent.
I have nothing but the highest praise in all my experiences at Berry Patchwork. I have found each encounter (and there have been so many over the last 4 years) an absolute delightful experience.
Selected some fabric for a project. Lovely choices with up to date releases. Patterns are easy to follow.Had a class booked, unfortuneately the teacher could not do the class , hubby very ill. Substitute teacher was ok but did not give enough time to each student so they knew what they were doing. My overall experience when Elizabeth is there is good.I did feel however ignored because I didnt fit image of Quilter.

Went in again, still got the same smiling from Elizabeth and stares from ladies at the table, like I said before, my image doesnt obviously fit theirs - I was not approached again - with any help with selection of fabrics, so I went to the three other in the Nowra/Berry area and got help from all bar S*****ght.
I stand by what I said. Customer service needs to be good for ALL customers - whether they buy or dont buy. A genuine smile an offer to help - which I didnt get.
