Discovered John a few years ago when I called him up to diagnose a cracked cylinder. Have been using him exclusively ever since; for car services, to emergency calls. He arrives quickly, I got stuck at a servo today, car wouldn't start. Called up John and he arrived within 20 minutes and I was back on the road 5 minutes later.
John is thorough and walks you through exactly what the problem is and how he will fix it. Very reasonably priced too!

John was great. Super fast service. Diagnosed my cars problem and walked me through the disassembly process and gave sound advice to ensure l was able to complete the repair once a part was sourced.
I saved me money on the old van and got it running a treat.
John was happy for my teenage son's to watch the process and explained everyting to them in simple terms.

I believed I had a carburettor issue on my old classic Ford and took it to John. He took the time to test it on a engine he had on site. John did not charge me for his time and proved to be quite knowledgable. I would thoroughly recommend him to the old school classic car fraternity.

John is a gem. I needed a mechanic to guarantee my c.1980 vintage caravan was in towable condition. I had no trouble getting hold of him and he was on time for our appointment. It took a couple of goes for old fittings, etc, but there were no major problems and he kindly towed it to where I needed to go. He is a good bloke, good humoured, 'safety first' and knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

I’ve used John before and was extremely happy with him them, so when I needed a mobile mechanic of course he was my go to. John is clever and a straight talker. When my car wouldn’t start he came out when I called late in the afternoon and diagnosed why my car wouldn’t start and explained the problem. The next day he SMS to let me know he was on his way. John fixed my car and it’s running great. Good old fashion service from an honest, friendly person. I would highly recommend John for your mobile mechanic needs.

John came out to help my husband who broke down in our local shopping centre car park after work. We hadn't used John before but he was the only one we could find who would come out after hours and he was there in a matter of minutes. John was quickly able to identify the issue which ended up being something simple and not something big and expensive as we were expecting it to be. I went to Jonny with my vy and he beat the original quote and did extra work, showing me everything that was wrong and seemed very knowledgeable and told me to come back if anything came up but it’s been two weeks and everything is working perfectly, couldn’t go to anyone better!

Have found ourselves in a bind a few times, lucky for us we found John, from Betta Mobile Mechanics, He came down to Dandenong at short notice.
As a woman sometimes mechanics can be patronising but not John. He fixed the car, did a great job at a great price and even taught us some stuff about cars. He explained everything with NO MANSPLAINING WHATSOEVER. Being a hardworking family man, John is very safety minded. He also takes immense pride in his work, even calling to come back by and make sure everything was fixed and perfect. We have used his service a few times now and will continue to do so. We (mum and I) feel so comfortable with John. He is highly professional while remaining friendly, down to earth, respectful and real. We feel we can ask anything without feeling stupid.
