Went here when visiting the mother in law early this year and food was great. Really quick service too

Hubby and I went here with the kids and all our meals were good. Great prices. Didn't have any problems, the staff were wonderful.

Big Fish Tavern........ the best thing they have on is an all you can eat salad and hot vege bar, any night except Sunday. The salad dressing is absolutely *great*!!!

We never paid for any food all weekend, but if I had to, I wouldn't. Food was good, but not great, especially for their prices.

Sunday nights is the best deal. 300g eye fillet for $15.90.... usually $25.90. Good meat. Great sauces.

Drinks?? Don't buy them at the bar. *Very* expensive. $6-7 per stubby. $14 for a stubby and gin and tonic. $9 for a can of Bundy cola.

Buying drinks from the drive-through/liquor barn to take back to the M1 Motel rooms is fraught with pitfalls and rip-offs. Seems the whole place is trying to get as much money out of you as they can.

Bought 2 bottles of wine (on special for $11.99) and a 6-pak of Coopers Clear. Was charge $49.95.

Went back and fronted the drive-through guy, he was ‘surprised' he'd made a mistake. Till he checked the till and tape. Did a *lot* of double talking and finally slung a $5 bill across the counter at me. I was still short, but it was late at night, I was tired, so I let it slide as part of the lesson learned.

Would I recommend either place? No. Only if you *really* need to stop.

Spoke to a couple of locals that were staying with us, and they give the place a wide berth, and they only live just up the road!!

That speaks volumes.
