The guy called 'Chris' there is a legend, helped me with a lot. He ought to get a raise for what he did for me and my family. Showed me around, most likely outside his job description. Thought it would be good to shop around for this product I was going to buy, helped me a lot. Top lad.

A great department store and handy in its location in westfield Miranda. They have great prices and happily do refunds for things as i found out today. They are the only store i know that sells Menz Chocky snakes as well. These used to be available at coles and woolies however they have gotton rid of these with there home brand lollies in there place.

I really enjoy shopping at Miranda Big W as I use my everyday rewards, the staff are great to remind you and always ask " do you have your rewards card?" i need a reminder. The store has great deals continually and went i go (mostly weekends or late night) I find the discounted home wares and the discounted clothing ranges are varied and tidy. There is always a good selection and the store is laid out well for me when in a hurry. I can easily pop in to the ladies clothes and then at the end is the shoes. perfect for that whole outfit shop.

I honestly don't think that Big W Miranda has ever changed it's layout in the 20 years that I have been going there. Clothing, Electronics, Toys and Footwear are in exactly the same position I remember from when I was a teenager.

That said, you can be sure of what you are buying if it is a branded product. Some of their store brand products are a bit hit and miss, usually miss....

As a user of Everyday Rewards I find Big W doubly useful to pick up a few household items and score extra points. Though it is surprising to see some of their prices are more expensive than Woolworths.

It always pays to compare!

All in all, I don't mind going up to Big W Miranda.

I went shopping for Christmas presents for my nieces and nephews, the toy section was a a big mess due to a large family. When I asked an employee where the customer scanner was, due to everything was everywhere making it difficult to see what product belonged where. This particular young man actually gave me advice on what to buy which child as he had lots of nieces and nephews and knew what children are currently into. This was very helpful and was most definitely above and beyond the job role.

The only place that sells chocky snakes! Coles and woolworths used to stock these and have done away with them to make room for their own brand generic lollies. I go there just for these when at Miranda and evrybody asks me to get some for them too

staff are quite good, sometimes they appear to be a little understaffed especially during christmas, but they always have the best prices
