Birdsville only care about the money they make not their customers or their birds.

I bought finches in that shop for a brandnew, never used very large indoor flight cage with artificial and natural light. After I got the birds, 4 Zebras, 6 Gouldians...the female Zebra started to develope a massive clump foot and it turned out that it was burrowing mite. She also got it on the face. After only owning her for one week. The Gouldians I discovered all had air sack mite. I spent a lot of money on medication. Got only blank looks from the staff at Birdsville. Then, one after another of my 35 dollar Gouldians started dropping dead. Bought more medication from Birdsville, again.. got only blank looks and the occasional smirk. I tried to send them an email, it came back a undeliverable. No email contact possible. IT IS NOT NORMAL THAT YOUR BIRDS DEVELOPE DESEASES JUST ONE WEEK AFTER BUYING THEM UNLESS THEY WERE SOLD DESEASED FROM THE SHOP. I had a look at th cages in the shop later on. Saw a lot of birds 'balled up' in many community cages, very sick, dying. Don't they take sick birds out? Don't they seperate them? I spent hundreds of dollars on on sick and dying birds and on the medication to rescue them. No possibility of contacting on email, customer service a joke.

My feathered friend "carter" was brought for me as a birthday present from here. She is the best friend one could hope for. Like they say your bird will choose you and we hit it off from the start. Still use them for proper feed and lodging for when we go on holidays. The kids love visiting to see all the new additions. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Drove past and thought I'd check out the shop, it was amazing they had everything you could possibly want for birds and a large range of birds as well. The following weekend I brought my family in to select a bird and a cage. The staff talked us through birds suitable for my kids ages and informed us on proper care and requirements for them not just trying to sell everything and anything. We now have a beautiful galah who is very much a part of the family we love him. This place sells happy and healthy birds in a clean environment with knowledgable staff. There prices are very competitive too.

I believe this is one of the best places you can go in Sydney for a huge range of different feathered friends. They have hand-raised birds. Lots of budgies, parrots, cages and everything you would need to feed and keep them healthy. I enjoyed taking my children to select the newest edition to our family. It has a nice atmosphere, and a huge choice. The staff have a high knowledge of all the birds.
