Overly complicated online booking system that will only let you book in one person. Not enough staff to answer the phones despite several calls Unhelpful staff in person. What a waste of time. Just hopeless.

Good place with a bit of equipment and pool for the kids . The swim programs for kids are quite good

We love going to Stanhope Gardens swimming pool. They have 3 separate indoor heated swimming pools which include a wave pool and shallow kids area, a swimming lessons pool and a lap pool. They have a fantastic outdoor area of lush green grass where they have tables and chairs set up. They have a kiosk selling hot and cold food and are attached to a gym and library service. We recently attended the annual Christmas members pool party and were amazed with the services they offered. I will definitely be taking my little one back here. It has a great atmosphere and is a family friendly environment.

I go to Blacktown Leisure Centre regularly and I am giving feedback from an opinion as a disability support worker as I come to use the pool and library from time to time.
The library is pretty good, many computers, 3-4 big screen TV's to play Xbox and other games. Soft chairs near entrance to relax and read from. Also free WiFi access once you go to desk to ask for password.
The pool area is good, there is some pools for babies and children, a waves pool that makes waves once every 30-60 mins after a warning alarm has sounded with a message.
There is a large pool with lanes for walking, slow swimming, swimming, and fast swimming. In that pool it also has an area without lanes. The only downside is that there is no hoist for people with a disability or the elderly and I am not sure if there is a change room for them either. Haven't needed to look for it since there is no hoist for the pool.

The pools here are really nice but if ur like me with no car then they can be hard to get to,besides the local buses.The pools are all indoors which i liked as when i went i was abit sunburnt from summer.the kids and i loved the wave pool,my boy was a toddler at that stage and was good for the water spirts and places for little kids to just play around.Im glad we have something like this,A great experience

I take my daughter here for swimming lessons and have to say that they really provide a great service. The only reason I haven't rated them full marks is that it is difficult to get a booking as they are so popular! Having a toddler I find that the staff are helpful and attentive to the kids and really help give them confidence in the water. Great job!!

Very poor service at this gym. the front desk people are rude and abrupt. gym area is too small and fitness instructors are rarely providing service or even present on the gym floor.

The teachers are mostly wonderful, however the administration side of things is just appalling. You never know what is going on, they tell you something, then the next week something else. They promise but never deliver, you are always having to chase them up, it is a real shame, not to mention re-enrolling each and every term takes hours, and everyone has little children with them so it is just a nightmare because they really do have some wonderful swimming teachers.
