Popped into my local library recently for some travel books. Found a couple of Lonely Planet books that were just what I needed. The staff are helpful and friendly and car parking is usually available. An asset to the community.

I enjoy visiting this library. Although waiting for a building update they have a good range of books, dvds, cds etc. Computers with online access to ancestory site and other sites too. Can book use of other computers for personal use too. I also like using the online borrowing site "Libby" to borrow books to read online. Friendly staff who are very will to assist.

Another visit to this library. Enjoy that they stock sailing and motoring magazines. Also the ones that can be borrowed are up to date and not years old. Easy parking and easy self service machine for returning and borrowing items. Staff always ready to help if you need them.

I frequently visit The Blackwood Library and I can find my sailing magazines easily. There is a good range of magazines to choose from here. When they are so expensive to purchase it is great to borrow them. Always friendly and welcoming here too.

Always find my sailing magazines available at this library. Great that they are stocked. My wife reads a lot and she finds many books to borrow. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Children are encouraged to attend with special morning activities on Wednesday I think. Also night time events are held. They also hold technology help events which is great. A very good service

This small library which is part of the Mitcham Council services works hard to provide excellent service to its patrons. Always enjoy browsing and choosing my books here. Internet access is available as well as CDs and DVDs. Ficton and non ficton books and extra events are scheduled too.

This medium sized library is run by the Mitcham City Council. The staff try to do the impossible with the amount of room and funding. Most of the books have been in the library for quite some time. This library is always busy and certainly needs a very good update.

Once again reviewing this library which is part of the Mitcham Council area. It is long overdue for a new and modern building. However the staff are friendly and helpful and usually the library is extremely busy. Good selection of magazines but new books are borrowed as soon as they become available. Also on high fire risk days the library is shut which does not seem to be a good community attitude

The Blackwood Library is run by the Mitcham Council and provides a valuable service to the local community. It is well staffed by very friendly people who are only too willing to assist. Unfortunately the building has outgrown the purpose for which it is used. A new library has been mooted for many years but has not happened yet. Ficton, reference, magazines and DVD's are here plus youth and children's books and activities. A great library serving its community
