I ordered the big breakfast, which was massive! There was 2 large pieces of bread, bacon, eggs done to your liking, avocado, chutney, mushrooms and spinach. We ordered at the counter and our meals were delivered to our counter. The staff member serving us at the counter was fantastic, very patient as we made our choices and some of my group requested changes to their orders. Must be a popular place because it was full of people the whole time we were there.

A foodstore cum cafe, Blood Orange sits on a rather deserted stretch of burwood rd.
The store itself is very modern, bright and spacious. In terms of logistics/layout, the foodstore section is separate to the dining area. They do not do table service, so you order at the counter, receive a number and the waiters serve the meals to your 'number' when the order is ready. Whilst this is a hassle it is not too bad, nor unacceptable given the casual nature of the cafe. It is also made up by the creative and artistic items on the food menu and excellent efficient service. Ie. Portobello mushrooms with feta, pine nuts, grilled asparagus and house made rosti.
