I was really happy with the service at Blue Chair - we ordered breakfast for 6 people and the food came out quickly and was really tasty! I will definitely be back as it ticks all the boxes for great value and great taste!!

I must admit, I haven't been to this business in about 9 months so I am not sure when the "under new management" happened. I am not eager to return though either based on the first and most basic of tenants. Clean cutlery :-( We went in for a coffee and watched a family with children at a table adjacent to us. The children played with the cutlery while the parents had a coffee. When they left, the server came to wipe off the table and as it didn't appear the cutlery had been used, she wiped around it and reset the table using the same dirty cutlery the children had been playing with. I was aghast. I mentioned it to the server at the time and got a nasty retort. I was very disappointed as I enjoy frequenting businesses locally. I did notice all the tables were preset and from that moment on, I decided if I ever go into an establishment with preset tables that I will ask for fresh cutlery. I also tried to find some food handling regulation regarding the cutlery and was unable to find any. We have since and it is a code violation - the cutlery must be replaced. I hope that if this is new management, they have revised their policy and by reply here state so, I would try them again.
PS I was forced to give a "value rating" which I would have preferred not to do as I don't feel I have an accurate opinion on the value of the food.

Went and had lunch there yesterday, with some old friends, the service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we were not rushed in anyway, and the meal was fantastic, I had the Salmon it just melted in your mouth just beautiful. we have already booked our next date. Thankyou Blue Chair well Done!

breakfast, brunch, or just a coffee? this is the place to go! just on the beach at carrum, a great cafe in a great spot! we had a lovely light lunch and lovelycoffee and then went for a walk along the beach! it was really a good day out!

Coffee good and food good. Very busy at times. Good place to cycle to and safe to leave bikes. Big and modern. Large for prams to fit which is good. Staff friendly and service good little slow at times.

Blue chair does great food all day, however the ambiance for an evening meal is a little cold and impersonal - the restaurant is quite large and there is never anyone there! More people should go to give the restaurant a buzz as the food and service of the owner is great.

Used to be our local for breakfast on the weekends. Great quality and service, serving sizes are generous. Good atmosphere and great coffees too! Have never tried them for dinner.

NIce vibe cafe with lounges set out in a warehouse style/open plan, nice coffee and breakfast menui - they do dinner but have not tried this, but lunch and brekkie are good. kind of pricey

The food is always great quality and the meals are generous. Keiren and the waitresses are always friendly. I also love the big breakies and coffee. It's pet friendly too with water out the front for doggies.
