It was a very fortunate day when Blue Gum Granny Flats were recommended to us. After starting our granny flat as owner-builders we hit major problems with certifiers, neighbours and council. It was at this point that William and Chris come into the picture to save the project. Being of European heritage I can be a nightmare for tradesman as I have high expectations and a real eye for details – but William leaves me for dead in this regard – which is great as a customer.
But funnily enough his tradesmen speak highly of him as well. I think you have to have high standards yourself to keep working with him – which they all do. I cannot speak highly enough on their professionalism, attention to detail and willingness to do just a little bit extra.
The end result was a completely stress free project for us and a result that exceeded our expectations. The granny flat was completed exactly to timetable and without any variations from the quote – actually we received a few unexpected extras.
