Just dropped in here for lunch as we were out for a drive. The staff are pleasant. The place was sooo busy. Waited about 25 mins for our order but was well worth the wait. My partner and I ordered flake each and chips. My son had a couple of potato cakes. The fish and the batter is really nice and not greasy. The pieces are a good size. The potato cakes were huge. The chips are yummy and crispy, and the seagulls liked the bits we didn't eat too. Those little squeeze tomato sauces were 30 cents each, so we didn't buy them. Thought that was too much.

Approximate cost: $16

Good clean store vast variety & great service. Often stop here for some nice potato cakes. They sell gluten free fish & chips at a pretty good price. The store has plenty of parking & is easy to access. It is close to the beach so on a nice summer day would be great location for a picnic.

This is a really great fish and chip shop. My husband comes through here all the time and when he's on his own he eats far too much. So when we go with him we can at least share the chips.

You know the fish is beautifully fresh, you can just taste it. And when you're sitting in the car park by the side of the river, eating as you watch the pelicans etc, you imagine that they got it straight off the boat.

Chips are generous serving and potato cakes are just gorgeous. Definitely one of the best fish shops (and I've been to a few) - shame it's not closer to us. But then, I'd probably go there too much. LOL

Approximate cost: $10

My favourite fish & chip shop in the world :) I make regular pilgrimages to Tooradin with my family to partake of these fish & chips. The best fish & chips I have ever tasted... the fish is fresh out of the sea... AND you can have everything cooked gluten free!! (which is difficult to find.) Also, everything is cooked in rice bran oil, which tastes much cleaner than food from other fish & chip shops.

Our favourite thing is to drive around the corner and eat fish and chips by the river or beach, but there's also the option of eating inside the shop/cafe on a rainy day.

Approximate cost: $6.00

I enjoyed their chips while I ate them by the lake. One other time I ordered a salad roll and that was nice. They have seats inside and out. I nice place to order your fish and chips.
