Beautiful location on the lake.
Meal ordinary and poached eggs overcooked.
Very disappointed and expected more for the location and cost

Was surprised by this little cafe situated by the lake we stopped in and ordered a couple of salad sandwiches and 2 milkshakes one strawberry one chocolate, we must of waited half an hour and when the waitress came we got 2 strawberry milkshakes so had to get her to remake mine. So by the time I finally got my chocolate shake i had finished my sandwich and was pretty much ready to leave. So I got it poured into a take away cup and we left. Staff seem unorganised and not wanting to be there. Wouldn't come again

A very cute little café in a great spot, right by the lake. It also houses a 2nd hand book store. Coffee and hot chocolates were great. Staff were friendly and attentive.

The service was poor from the Boathouse Cafe. I have only been here once so I can only comment on my single experience. There was a group of us there for breakfast; about 10 in total, but the place certainly wasn't full. We ordered water; it never came. The orders for our group took one hour to arrive - my wife and I only ordered muesli. There was hardly any milk, so I asked for some more - this was also forgotten.

Approximate cost: $0
