I am a regular customer and have been calling in for cake & coffee since the business was established by previous owners some years ago. I have always been very happy with the product quality, friendliness and attitude of the owners and staff. Admittedly, this is not Cacao, but the prices are noticeably lower too and as far as various European cake shops go, Bohemia Cakes is one of the best and beats all of Acland St. hands down. My friends happily shop there too, as a result of my recommendation.
We often go to Bohemia Cakes for either a quick snack on weekends (a luscious meat pie with buttery, flaky pastry for each of us) or when entertaining it's a great place to get the most exquisite éclairs, slices, and fruit tarts. Prices aren't super sharp but the quality more than makes up for that. Fantastic eating!

I agree with the product rating, but the friendliness and attitude of the staff leaves a lot to be desired.
I totally disagree. My cake was OK but the coffee I was served was firstly served in a glass that was not properly cleaned (it had lipstck on it) and the coffee itself was very poor
I recently had a cake and coffee at Bohemia Cakes. and was overwhelmed by the unpleasant smell in the bakery. I was dumbfounded that the bakery was preparing its product during the day.
