Thank you to the staff who made a beautiful black forest 70th Birthday cake for 60 people. It was absolutely delicious. There was plenty of left over cake for guests to take home. Yum!! EM.

This is a regular stop for our bike riding group and we are always made to feel welcome. Hot chocolate was good (not exceptional) but apricot Danish I had was very nice.

Rest of the group was happy with their coffees and cake selection.

They also had a selection of pies which looked very nice but as we were only stopping for a coffee break we did not try.

This French cake shop used to be absolutely superb and even tho their prices were hefty the cakes were worth paying that bit extra, now the standard has dropped the service is very poor the attitude of the girls working there is appalling sometimes.
One day a woman questioned the price she was being charged and the female behind the counter said maybe you cannot afford to come in here.
We bought hot cross buns on wednesday $11.90 a dozen they felt as if they were a day or two old I spoke to a neighbour wh experienced the same thing on wednesday. Brumbys and Bakers Delight had them for $6.95 absolutely delicious and fresh. I have been disillusioned for some time but kept going back but never again.

Was in the mood for a baguette and headed down to this longstanding institution of Blackburn. I had gone there as a teen for croissants and had always lingered in my mind that they were great.
The baguettes were nice, and the pecan tart was a super special with what tasted like a maple glace.

overall was good!! the quality of the food was good the!! the service was all right and the staff were good. it was a nice restaurant and i would go again in the future
