I put through an order on Sunday, received an email about its dispatch on Monday (with tracking), and had my book in my hands on Wednesday--online shopping in Australia really doesn't get much better than that!
The prices are quite competitive and can hold their own against The Book Depository, and it's bonus that Bookworld is an Australian company. They also stock a huge range of titles, even some of the more obscure academic ones!
I was extremely impressed with Bookworld. I ordered my chid's book on the Friday and I received it on Sunday free to deliver. How great is that. Even better is that I saved $10 from getting it through the School supplier. Thank you Bookworld. I will definitely be recommending you to all my friends.

Absolutely agree - great to be supporting a local business who can supply and ship so fast as well as being able to source those hard-to-find titles. And no messing around with other currencies. They say they can beat their opposition by 10% and even taking into account the cost of postage, I found this to be true.
