On Sunday night 20/12 i booked this place for 26/12 for 1 night on our way to Barossa. I was quoted $159 for a family room, which i booked. He took my credit card number as security. I then received a call from a message i had left at another establishment and they were $40 cheaper. When i rang the Abode back within 15mins to cancel, the owner told me i would lose my $159. I spent another 20mins arguing with him. So we still had to stay there because he was very unreasonable. It was very basic accommodation. Needed some maintenance but was clean. The owner wasn't even there at all. A phone outside his office was to contact him while he was in Adelaide. His son was there minimal. Had to source own breakfast after i was told we could maybe get some toast. Would not recommend!
On the 09/01/10 - the owner rang me to ask why I left the above review, saying I had left it on his website. NOT! It was on Google Maps. After a bit of a conversation, he told me I liked to pretend i'm dumb. I asked him if he rang people and harrassed them often. He said he was suing 'morgan' below. I said people deserved to know about my dealings with him. He told me he was going to sue me as well, so i said 'wat ever' or something to that effect and hung up. STILL DONT STAY THERE! HE DOESNT HAVE A LIFE IF HE HAS TO HARASS UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS. Obviously can't take criticism.
