I got Dug to do our downlights and not only was he so much cheaper than other quotes I'd received, he still insisted on using all the best quality fittings and gave me sound advice on our distribution board (not just advice that would make him more money!). Very friendly and professional and we would definitely recommend him.

An elderly friend has used this electrician and still doesn't have a safety certificate for the work done. There is a query of what she has been charged for and what has actually been done. It should be advised to have an itemised quote of exactly what will be done and the individual costings and check that the work carried out is as stated in the quote. This also includes time allowed for work as this extended over double the time advised which meant extra costings for accommodation whilst this work was done. To Anonymous, check your downlights meet Australian Standards........
