The food was very nice but the pie was slightly over cooked.

The service, however, was terrible. We waited half an hour then had to go back twice before finally getting our food about 45 mins after ordering.

The views of the city are great

It's a really pleasant location, right at the peak height of Kings Park where you get a fantastic view of the city and the waters. I love this place for where it is unfortunately the quality of the food isn't all that great.
We visited during breakfast, and I ordered smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast, and my husband eggs benedict. The serving were small, and there really isn't anything special about how they've served the food. Let's begin with only one piece of toast (instead of the general two) on my order and one English muffin on my husband's eggs benedict. It feels quite stingy really. We had mocha to accompany our meal and it was really chocolate syrup we were drinking. Too much chocolate on not so great coffee unfortunately makes a bad combination. Not to mention, most breakfast items were over $20!
Staff were alright, and nothing too special to talk about!

Really amazing views sitting over Kings Park, and it is well designed, cozy diner with a great natural atmosphere. The food is decent, not great but it does pass. Prices are a little high probably due to the setting. Worth the visit if your hungry and in the park.

A beautiful day in Perth matched by the perfect view from the cafe, but unfortunately the breakfast food did not live up to expectations. Eggs Benedict arrived barely warm on turkish bread that was cold and tasted stale. The green tea served in a teapot with real leaf tea was perfect.

The Botanical is the more casual little sister of the magnificent Frasers restaurant in Kings Park. Situated a stone's throw from Frasers, the Botanical shares the same idyllic setting and spectacular views - and undoubtedly the same fabulous produce and supplies.

Having said that, the food at the Botanical is quite inconsistent and the service is patchy and slow. There are plenty of cafes around Perth doing light meals and snacks with more style and quality that the Botanical, but I'm sure people will continue to put up with the downside in order to enjoy those unbeatable views.

Favourite breaky would be the Eggs Benedict - providing it arrives hot, and together with the other meals at the table! And for lunch the boys in the family just love the Botanical burger.

Great parking close by, open for breaky, lunch, dinner and snacks. Early closing in cooler months and extended opening hours in summer - so it's worth ringing to check if you're planning dinner there.
