Am so impressed with the dedicated caring kind gentle staff and their level of knowledge and involvement with my children; amazingly good at settling even the most difficult attached son (previously wouldn't let me out of his sight), can't fault this incredible centre!

My son has been going to Brighton Playroom for 2 1/2 years now and he loves it. He has made some great friends over the years and it has given me more time to spend with my little girl as well. It has been a great way for him to get the socialisation that you get form daycare without him being there all day. This year he has also been going to 3 year old kinder as well and has been well adjusted and confident there due to starting when he was younger at Brighton Playroom.

Approximate cost: $25 per session

Playroom is a fantastic opportunity for kids. My 3 year old son loves going each week, where he gets the opportunity to play with a great range of toys, play outside and be part of a group of children. It is particularly special for him as his big brother went off to school this year; it gives him something to belong to, as well. I was not interested in long day care for him and the three hour sessions are perfect for us; it gives him an activity, place to socialise and break from the home routine and it gives me a chance to spend one-on-one time with my baby and go for a run. It's great value at $25 per three hour block and the teachers are wonderful and caring.

Approximate cost: $25/3 hrs

I wanted my 2 year old to have the benefits of childcare (socializing with other kids, learning to separate from me, painting and other activities) but without putting him in for long days. I found Brighton Playroom which offers sessional / occasional care so he has been doing 2 x 3hr sessions per week since the start of the year. He loves it (always excited to be dropped off there) and I get 3 hours to go for a run and catch up on housework. It's also reasonably priced at approximately $25 per 3hr session. Its a small friendly centre and I have also chosen to join the parent committee (this is, of course, voluntary for those who want to be more involved).

Approximate cost: $25
