I was at Brisbane Private hospital last week and found the surgical ward to have wonderful happy staff that were always very helpful and courteous throughout my 5 night stay.
Room was clean and tidy, I had a view to the back streets of Spring Hill (the admissions desk lady said that I might have a view of a brick wall - so I was delighted when I could watch the world go by whilst I recovered)
I had an emergency return to theatre and the staff were amazing at fast tracking my case and having me in and out of theatre promptly. They worked with my Surgeon and Anaesthetist with the charge nurse on that shift ensuring my safety.
The hospital has been updated and new buildings live where the carpark used to be.
I was recently at the John Flynn Hospital on the Gold coast and although they have impressive views, their staff didn't seem as happy and content as the staff were at BPH.
From the concierge who escorted me from the front of the hospital drop off area to the to the cleaning staff, they all deserve 5/5 *****. When the staff are happy, on every shift, you know that the hospital is doing something right.

Again I landed back here for yet more dental problems and they were still wonderful staff. You cannot fault their caring friendly and pleasant manners. I was processed through the steps of day surgery efficciently and pleasantly with each person informing along the way what was happenning. The place is still a bit tired but clean!

While being very run down, the service i received when i visitted for dental surgery was excellent. The staff were kind and professional and obviously were very good at what they did. They were able to be pleasant and kind without a loss of professionalism which is a rare thing i feel.

I was sent to Brisbane private hospital for surgery under work cover and received excellent care. The hospital is quite old so some of the rooms were dull and could do with updating. The nurses and surgeons were professional and knowledgeable. The administration staff and orderlies were also excellent. No problems received with any of the care.
