Love the spa in our rooms. Went to the apartments next door years ago and was very impressed. Been in the hotel rooms too. My favourite choice for a holiday. Clean, comfortable & great service. Lovely restaurant too.

We went here for breakfast this morning and I have to say- this is the worst buffet breakfast I ever had in Perth. When we arrived at 9.30am (Sunday) there was no food in half of the trays to select from. The scrambled eggs weren't replaced for 25 minutes!!! The bacon and sausages were oily. The coffee came from a self serve machine so made from powdered milk... how do I know this for sure? I watched a waitress refill it.
I will never go back to the Pagoda. I am absolutely astounded at the poor quality of the food. Hard to comment on the service of the wait staff because we barely saw them.

This hotel is now called the Esplanade River Suites and it's a lovely hotel with a lot of character. I think Esplanade have done a great job at revamping the property. We were welcomed by a lovely young lady who checked us in right away (depsite being an hour before offical check-in), explained where our room was and then gave us recommendations on tours and restaurants to dine in. We felt she really cared about our stay (we were locals just having a night out in the city so didn't really need this info but didn't want to stop her as she was doing a great job!). We were so impressed we even handed in a comment form so hopefully she gets recognised. The restaurant has recently been refurbished, possibly a new chef? Anyway the food was to die for, we have been back 4 times since as we really enjoy it. Prices are so cheap for the quality, and try and get a table near the window at sunset - worth a million bucks and one for that romantic night. Also been here for a wedding and rate it very highly.

The Broadwater is a nice hotel for when you want to stay just outside of the city centre. The facilities are good and a lot of the rooms have spas in them which is always a bonus. Nice place.

We stayed here on our wedding night. It was fine, but i felt the decor was a little drab for the price. Nice sized rooms, the spa bath was nice. I think with a bit of renovation it could be awesome.

Approximate cost: $200
