It had been several years since our last visit but someone booked it for a large family reunion/birthday. It will be years before we go again if ever! This is a pub/tavern although with great views (if it is daylight). However the prices are greatly overpriced for ordinary tavern food. $36 for a 200 g steak which is presented with sauce, a very poor excuse for a salad and a load of chips. It was just an everyday steak. The Seniors specials offers a slightly smaller steak for half the price and would have been a better choice. There isn't even table service. We had to queue in a line to place our orders. Two young guys ordered lasagne which again was very overpriced and was nothing special. "It's half this price at the RSL and better there" was one comment. The Caesar Salad as a main meal was also a great disappointment and mostly left uneaten. The duck breast was very dry and didn't even look appetising. Even the drinks were outrageously priced. $10 for a glass of cider!!!!! If this place is going to charge such prices for very poor food and drinks then none of our large group certainly won't be back.

We ate here a few weeks back, and it was amazing. We took our two young kids with us and they LOVED it! We sat close to the kids playroom, and I cant speak more highly of this place. The service was excellent, the doof tasted great, the views were amazing, And both the kids and us parents had a fantastic time. HIGHLY recommended!

I like the Buderim Tavern. Have been a few times now and found the menu to be quite extensive and good in terms of quality and portion size.

Can be quite expensive but you can get vouchers etc that will save money. (look up on-line).

Good for families can be crowded and noisy though.

Amazing views and the service is quite good. It's got a good area if you want to dump the kids off for a while but it is terribly over priced, both for food and drinks.

Have only been here for functions. The service was good, and food was lovely. Thinking of having a function here in the future. I have heard it is quite reasonably priced to hire out.

I was not that impressed on my last visit to The Buderim Tavern. The menu was over price for a Pub that you order your own meal from the counter and get your own drinks from the bar you can go 100 m down the road and spend less and get a great meal and 5 star service without waiting 1 to 2 hours for your meals to arrive at your table.

This place must have changed hands because it has seriously deteriorated since the last time i was there (and it was good before but a very long way from great) and now it is pretty average. I had eye fillet steak it was average and consequently overpriced. there is no service it's place your order to the rude staff at the counter. The view is great! maybe worth going to for a drink but for a meal? forget it.

Very good food and a wide selection of steaks and wines. Often go there for client meetings and with business associates. Great views looking over the coast line whilst enjoying a fine wine and hearty meal.

We had our work Christmas party here and after a booking was made for 7pm on a Thursday we were finally seated at 8:30pm. We all ordered quickly as we were all hungry and the first meals came out at 10pm then the last of the meals which was fish came out at 10:30pm. after many attempts to find out why everything was taking so long we always got the same anwser, "their busy tonight, your meal will be out shortly", many would said that we had a large party to catery for but there was only 20 of us. This was my second time here and the first time was terrible so I will never be back.

great frood and great prices. this is one place that caters for young children. with a playground for the kids to explore, it n=makes dining more relaxed and casual experience
