Firstly I hate DIY projects, because I'm just not good at it. My wife told me I need to man up and learn how to fix things. So I decided to start by going to Bunnings and giving it my best shot. What I have learn't is that I can do things afterall. The staff at Bunnings have played a large part by guiding me into buying the right products but I've taken it from there. I've bought paint, tap fittings, garden tools, even tried my hand at some basic woodwork. Bunnings products are such good quality and by combining that and youtube videos I've been teaching myself how to fix things. I'm really proud of myself. I go to Bunnings monthly now and I'm really getting into fixing up some things round the house. I'm attempting to fix a wooden gate and I've been buying the parts from Bunnings to do it. The prices are great, service brilliant and thanks to the staff there I now have the confidence to search their store for products all by myself. They even have a great website which I've been using. I think they're great!!!

This is our local Bunnings now. It has a lot of variation in staff quality. Most staff are pretty helpful, there are some very helpful older male staff. It is the kind of place where you're not likely to be asked if you need help, but it is usually available if you ask.
