I've eaten at this restaurant twice and both times the food has been fresh, tasty and more on the side of authentic Italian compared to some of the more 'Aussie' Italian pizzas. They offer dine in and takeaway and seem to get through quite a lot of pizzas. The pizzas have always tastes great- a nice thin crust and proper quality ingredients. I feel that there are maybe one or two too many tables in the restaurant as you can feel like you are listening in on other diner's conversations.

Yummy pizzas. Thin bases, good quality toppings. Service is slow. I swear they don't start your (phone) order until you arrive though. Eating in is a nice experience though.

Love great pizzas places such as Buonasera. When in area we love their pizza, it is awesome sitting there and watch how maestro makes pizza and when he flips it in the air. Very clan and great tasting food with great service.

Fantastic restaurant - we bought a Living Social voucher to try out Buonasera and loved it! We live locally but had never been to the restaurant before. Good old fashioned Italian service with a smile. Food was excellent and generous servings (prices were very reasonable).

Approximate cost: $25-30

Never expected to be dazzled with first class service, but i was impressed with the manner in which they are trying to provide a enjoyable dining experience. A friend brought me along, suggesting the ravioli was to die for. Well presented wait staff, clean premises and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Food was very good indeed, having the ravioli (which was excellent) and the lasagna, with a calamari entree. Overall, i enjoyed the experience and wish the proprietors every success, as it was very noticeable the extent to which they are working towards a traditional, quality Italian restaurant. I will certainly be back.

Approximate cost: $27.00

We live close by. Went once when they opened...disappointing the again recently 2010 again disappointing. very basic local dishes certainly not lygon Street or Rome. The guys at the pizza oven always friendly, the area needs a good Italian restaurant, this could be it but they need to rev up the menu stop serving average creations.

Approximate cost: $28
