Nobody could tell me what was wrong with it.all just guessing.john sent me to a tyre dealer to fix the car.spot on call .I was going to sell it as terrible to drive but know it's as good as ever.saved me a lot of money.thanks John 5 stars

Took 2004 Hyundai Tucson into John without a booking. He stopped everything to have a look. Sorted the problem, back on the road no time lost. Excellent price. Good Aussie bloke. Trustworthy and sincere.

Again John has come through and helped me with my car. After going to another local mechanical organisation close to home I was told that there was nothing wrong with my car and then I broke down going to my daughters 18th Birthday and unable to get to work the next day. My car was towed to John who spent the day finding the problem and immediately fixing it. His prices are great, his service and work ethic are outstanding. He is a lovely bloke who lets me know before hand whats involved and the costs. I would recommend John to anyone on the Gold Coast who is after an honest mechanic who is A GENIUS with cars.

Be very Wary. My 2007 Mazda BT50s automatic transmission went whilst i was 200km away from home, coming to terms with towing costs $600 i googled Burleigh automatics specialists, i rang three for prices which were all similar but ended up going with them as they sounded the most trustworthy over the phone. They asked for a $1500 deposit before they would start any work so i paid trustingly. $3500 quoted on the phone turned into $7000 as my dismantled truck lay on their bench. I could not comprehend how such a dramatic increase could occur. Knowing what i had been quoted by the other mechanics i phoned them and was told that there price at $4500 was capped and worst case scenario. Confronting them their price suddenly dropped to $$5500.. still $1000 to much After breaking down their price they were charging me 30 hrs Labor at $100 per hr ($3000) for which both other mechanics were only 12 hrs ($1200) and swore that was all it took to do the repair! They could not believe they were charging this much. Not trusting them any longer i arranged to have my truck towed to another mechanic. Best thing i ever did. I lost my $1500 deposit and they kindly loaded my dismantled Gearbox into the front and back seats of my truck leaking oil and leaving stains throughout my car... I thought that pretty much summed them up. Hope this review saves someone else the stress, waste of time and money.
