Make sure you never buy anything from this place online. They have a policy which they are outrageously firm on which means you can't return a product no matter what. Legally they're obliged to refund you if the product isn't what it appears to be on their website but the owner didn't agree with the fact that their photos of the product were actually misleading.

I'm extremely upset with the outcome, the product I received looks very different to what I'd viewed online and then following that being bullied into having to keep the unwanted product.

Policy or not, most businesses believe in trying to make their customers happy, unfortunately this business does not care.

Untrustworthy. Unprofessional. I bought a vintage engagement ring in 2013 from their Doncaster store. In the dimly lit shop the diamond appeared fine. However, when in full light the diamond was mostly opaque(due to excessive fluorescence). I returned immediately to the store for a refund, which was point blank refused. Instead they offered to replace the stone if I paid the difference (which was considerable). This I did. The stone was replaced and the ring resized. We then noticed a crack at the base of the cradle that holds the diamond. We had this assessed by two independent jewelers. Both were horrified that the ring had been given to us in this condition. The crack significantly compromised the ring and one of the four claws wasn't even in contact with the diamond (high risk of losing the diamond). During my interactions with them I witnessed two other men with similar complaints (faulty goods not as advertised with refunds refused). I have now paid to have the ring rebuilt by another jeweler. Burlington do offer a warranty on their goods, so they may have offered a repair, but I do not trust them to do an honest job.
