Queen's Birthday Long Weekend it was, after weeks of being in isolation finally we got out of the 4 corners of our house. A supposed to be a nice long weekend drive turned into a downhearted one. We entered to this cafe and I am about to get a breakfast menu on the table just for a take away, when suddenly a very rude male staff who is making a coffee looked at me and exactly told me- "Dont! Put it down! Menu on the screen" with his voice all over the cafe! With no please or good customer service phrase or whatever. My husband and I were shocked, the table where the menus doesn't even have anything written that it is not in use. This was the first time we were treated very badly - by a local business - I felt like a nobody. We just left the shop and moved to the next cafe.

Had great coffee here many times, so decided to go for Bfast. I had the Bircher Museli, which sounded lovely on the menu. It was good, only that is was supposed to be served with fresh mixed berries, instead it was served with 4 spoons of strawberry jam? Very strange. I asked if there was meant to be berries with it, the waitress apologised and checked with the chef, they then offered raspberries but it was too late, I'd pretty much finished (leaving the scoops,of jam of course!). It's a shame, because the coffee is so good here, hopefully the new owners can fix what should be a pretty simple breakfast.

Approximate cost: $15-20
