I adore this place for a few reasons - the view of the river here is hard to beat and a bonus, the ambience of the place is good, the food is flavor packed and the staff are friendly. My biggest problem is that the menu holds so much that I want to eat!. Pumpkin kebbi, haloumi salad, koosa and more.

I love this place. Go there all the time for a more formal night out, especially to catch up with the girls. Great atmosphere and right on the river with nice views. It's quite expensive but I guess you get what you pay for! My fav is getting a lychee daquari and sit at a table near the water... Fabulous!

Have been to Byblos for Anniversary, Birthdays, Christmas Parties & Girls Nights. Love the food and the atmosphere & Cocktails here. We often get the Platter to share as you get to try a bit of everything.

thoroughly enjoyed an evening here with a friend visiting from overseas. we spent $200 on fantastic cocktails and only $30 on food but had a great feed nonetheless. would love the drink prices to be a little bit cheaper and i could afford to go more often, but it was a lovely experience.

Had a good meal here plus have had an enjoyable cocktail function here too. The food was very good; overpriced but good. Nice atmosphere and great location.

We have dined here several times and each time has been amazing. They serve either mains or you can order a heap of different tapas style plates including dips, haloumi, kebabs, and so much more we also got a sampler plate for desert so we could try so many diferent great deserts. The staff are fantastic always there to help and are very informative. Our waitress didn't even write down what we were ordering she just remembered it all. The coktails are out of this world! I want to go every weekend. The only downside to this lovely resturant is that it is so popular you must book a fair bit in advance, so no last minute cravings.

Had a mate's combined 30th there a whlle back... awesome venue, with a great cocktail list and nice tapas to share, but the toilets were disgustingly dirty and the bartenders had a bit of attitude, which i didnt appreciate. so its a case of been there done that, probably wont again.

A nice place to go for cocktails with girlfriends. We ordered some tapas too share and whilst it was tasty I do think it was overpriced for what it was. One of the male wait staff was a little over-friendly with my friends and I which was somewhat off-putting.

After sampling some fantastic cocktails by Byblos staff at the Portside Coffee and Choc festival, I was keen to try this restaurant. Great location by the river. Nice ambience. Went with group of friends. Some confusion over what name it was booked under. Also I feel that we were rushed through. Dessert had just arrived when we were told our time was up and we would have to move outside! I thought this was not on as we were not lingering and still spending money. Quite a lot of money too The waiter spilt our water. Food was excellent but the poor service was off putting.

From the minute you walk into the restaurant none seems to care who you are ! The staff treat you with disrespect and ultimate rudeness. The food is not worth it. The menu is tapas so if you are looking to book in for a good 3 course meal pick somewhere else. One of our guests at the table was feeling ill and asked for a simple thing to help her feel better (diabetic) the staff member took out guest to the security guard and told him to kick him out all because of asking for a carb meal for a diabetic. Then to make matters worse when we went to the bar to finish of our tab the barman when asked "what would you like" Guest "I would like to close my tab" barman - Loose the attitude and i will serve you plus you are not in the right area....Guest moved location still told the same thing ......Had to get a manager to finalise the bill .......Very rude and very interested in taking your money for food and drinks but not interested in giving good service. Value for money not at all ...We paid $65 per head for a 3 course meal and all we got was tabbouleh, hummus, pita bread and deep fried nibbles, then main course was chicken and beef kebabs - dessert was even worse. Wine list is very over priced and if you don't stop the staff they take away drinks even when you have not finished drinking them ......don;t go to the toilet if you want to come back to that drink ! Overall pretty average.
