Greeted friendly and shown to table, told me about the menu, extensive range of teas, and homemade pies and biscuits which I buy on a regular basis.
Great atmosphere.

I don't know if there is a way to describe this cafe, the only thing that comes to mind is to describe it as simply, "Okay". The coffee was, Okay. The food was, Okay. The service was, Okay. Nothing about this place really shone for me. I can't honestly say anything made me feel impressed, it was satisfactory. The prices are about what I would expect for a cafe of this style, however, I rated the value lower because for that money, I expect about 'okay' quality.
