Could not fault this place! From the food to the service, location to the merchandise - an all in one dining/shopping experience. The coffee was to die for and the food a taste sensation. A touch of Morocco in the heart of Victoria. The eclectic souk to which the cafe is attached is just like the souks found in downtown Markets.
We were a bit hungry while in transit to get to Bright Victoria last week, so we stopped at Cafe Fez for a bite to eat. Hubby got the Lebanese Falafel Wrap ($10) and I got a winter soup special (can't remember the price, but it was like $12 or something). The falafels in hubby's wrap were so moist & huge - lots of tzatziki and spreads in there, too - great value and tasty. My soup was okay, nothing special but nice on a cold day. The Cafe is part of a larger building / business which sells small to huge middle eastern / Asian items - which is lots of fun to wander around in. If you stop in for lunch - get the falafel!!!
