Im not going back after a dispute about the description of the food & the inability of the staff to give me a refund. They lied about the contents of a pie, saying it was vegetables, when it also contained meat. I don't eat meat. Then when I returned it they took the pie off the plate and left me to eat the salad, with no part-refund. They complained to me they would loose $7.50, as they had to throw it away, yet they put it on another plate. I got no refund. Not happy at all and I am not returning.

This business has changed hands in the last 12 months and wow, does it show-in a bad way! Family unfriendly, poor service and an unhelpful, uncaring owner make this one place to miss! This is a cash only business and the menu is bland. When we stopped by on a busy Saturday morning in August 2011, and the glass display cases were empty save a few sad looking cakes wrapped in glad-wrap. This should have been our fist clue that this was a place to avoid, but it had been a long time since I had been there and stupidly thought it was still run by the same people.
We bought Coffee and milkshakes for the kids. As were waiting for the coffee a woman (I believe to be the owner) called over the counter to us 'Excuse me... Don't let your kids play with the sugar packets and get sugar on the table' I kid you not! Word for word! I have NEVER been so insulted in all my LIFE!
The only reason we did not get up and ask for a refund then and there was that the young girl on the front counter had already made the coffee and I didn't have any problem with her.

Give it a miss, let the empty tables and sad cakes in the display case be your guide. There is a lovely food court in Clifford Gardens, and all the stores take eftpos. Spend your money there.

The service was friendly and warm. The coffee was very good and the prices were very well priced. I enjoyed my food. They were also very welcoming to babies.
