The place is lovely offering indoor and outdoor seating. Pizzas were nice and so was the veal with prawns. Sometimes it gets busy and the staff are rushed.

very nice a cosy place to be in the evening with your family or friends. I love the Italian food they taste amazing. Compare to the other cafes near by prices are really good. I normally order pizza, pasta or salad. Service is that quick as i expected by loved all the food and people at the cafe.

Café Gioia & Pizzeria is a wonderful place to go with friends family or a group it has parking great ambience and especially the food pizza & the Pasta dishes are delicious tortellini with cream & to top it off you can have dessert at good value you can eat inside or outside they have created it as if your in Italy bellissimo we truly had a wonderful time everyone must check it out!

This is the place we normally order our pizza from when we have a group lunch and they are really good. They have really nice wood fire pizzas and I lover their garlic bread too. My favourite one is Molfetta which has Pepperoni, capsicum, onion, olives, tomato, cheese and they are generous with their toppings.
I suggestion not to go there for quick bite during lunch if you are time poor as they did take long time when we went for lunch once and it was only two of us, ee ordered pizza and it took more than 30 minutes to be on the table.

The pizzas are fantastic- full of flavour and generous with toppings. Service was average and the food took a little while to come out as we dined there on a busy night.

Went there for a function, hadn't been there for a number of years. All food came on platter. Reasonable servings. Food good but not great. Parking space a bit congested , better off parking on the street

had one of the wood fired pizzas, really good taste! it's fresh, and the way they prepare and cook the food, it's the traditional way with some modern thrown in for good measure, and i like the atmosphere, it's really 'cosmopolitan'

HAve been goiung there for 7 years, Some of the waiting staff have been there the whole time ive been going there. Staff are personal and remember me even though i only go about 2-5 times a year. Portions are more than enough, Have an outside dining area you can smoke at with great heating fro winter. Excellent service. The b est past ive ever eaten. I always over eat when i go here because the food is so nice. They also do pick up. Around 12 parking spots smack bang right in front of the restaurant. This is an award winning restaurant. Highly recomened.

Staff was rude and running around without a clue, Had been there years before and it was great . This visit was disappointing and will never go back or recommend.

I have been to alot of restaurants in Leichardt and thought this one would be great as theres alot of hype about it, but I was greatly disappointed. The food wasnt that good at all, and the service wasnt that good either. Not very personal.
The food was quite bland and the portions too small. I would not go back, basically. The orices are skyhigh too. Anywhere else on that same street would be arounf $50 less.
