I loved the tables. The food was plain.I asked for hot curry but Kuma couldn't do it. We went with a party and the servings were small.
I found a piece of plastic in my chicken dish. Showed my partner. We came home and googled what the plastic was. Turns out its from a clip on chicken wings !
Not worth 20 bucks a head on any level.
Do yourself a favor and go to real indian restaurant thats dusts the furniture and statues .

I have been going to Cafe Kuma for over 10 years ever since I lived around the corner. Now I travel an hour just to get my Indian craving every couple of months. The service is amazing and the owner is an incredible man who donates back to the local community and is very generous with the meals.
I can never get rid of the engrained memory of how good the curries taste and don't think I will ever handle if the place ever closes.
I don't know if I should review brisbanes best kept secret

One of my favourite places to go for curry. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. I went here once with a big group of people for a birthday an we were treated like kings. They have a wide variety of curries and other meals and the naan bread is awesome.

I actually have nothing bad to say about this place - except for it being in only one suburb and I no longer work near it!

Kuma from Cafe Kuma's is great. He will sit you down, ask you how spicy you like your curry and often just say something along the lines of "let me just sort it out. I'll bring you a few curries out, some mild some medium, some chicken some beef. I'll bring you naans and pappadums and rice. And all for $17" (or however much is actually is now).

Perfect for curry - you get a small serving of so many different curries, what seems to be endless rice supplies and it's great for work dinners or social outing with friends. The curries just seem like the keep coming and it caters for so many different taste buds.

I have no hesitancy recommending this as one of the best curry places in Brisbane.

The best indian food I have ever tried. Kuma, himself, always friendly. The front waiter is also very very nice. The food is always great. And we always walk away with more then we paid for because we go there very often and they look after there faithful customers. He also owns the AMAZING karaoke pizza bar across the road. Again - great quality and friendly staff.

The food are cooked pretty fast but the quality of food is still great. I love their Chicken Madras (served hot) its boneless chicken cooked with onions & garlic in a sauce of secret inidan herbs and spices, really yummy!

Approximate cost: $15.00
