I dined here with my husband and daughter on our way to Queensland for a family holiday. It is in a convenient location just off the side of the pacific highway. This place is very eye catching and novel because the building is literally shaped like a castle! We stopped at the Café for lunch. Although the Macadamia castle has some of its own attractions which you can enter you don't have to pay the entry fee just to use the café like we did, ours was just a quick visit. The café had a few macadamia themed items available such as a house-made sausage sandwich which had some nuts inside it (in the sausage). That is what my husband ordered and he thought it was quite tasty and it was a bit different. I just had one of the vegetarian wraps with vegies and salad in them. Overall our food was fairly tasty and fresh and I loved that they made there own macadamia products there. I don't know if they still have those sausages on the menu or if they were only on a daily menu, but if they are still there I would recommend them, my husband loved it. The service was about average, they were a bit busy when we were there but the food didn't take too long to come out. I would say this is one of the best places to eat on your way down the pacific highway on the way to queensland.
